About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and student‑centred Educational Youth Worker to join our passionate team. In this role, you will work closely with teachers, educational Youth Workers, and the Principal to support the learning, engagement, and wellbeing of young people.

You will ensure students receive the wellbeing support required to develop knowledge, understanding and skills that support learning, positive behaviour and constructive social relationships. This role plays a vital role in supporting young people on their educational journey through our Well-being First model.

Who we’re looking for

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Youth Work, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with young people in an educational role.
  • Strong understanding of youth development, mental health, and wellbeing strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students,
    families, and staff.
  • Understanding of trauma informed practices.
