As we prepare to open our doors for 2025, we invite expressions of interest (EOI). Once enrolments open, we will make contact with you, and the following steps will guide the enrolment process.
At Impact ACADEMY, we recognise that young people who are disengaged or at risk of disengagement may work towards re-engagement at various points in their schooling journey. With this in mind, we accept ongoing enrolments throughout the year.
This is the initial stage where parents, guardians, carers, or referring agencies make an enquiry about enrolling a student. We will request basic information about the prospective student to ensure they meet our enrolment criteria. To support this process, we have developed an online quiz to help you understand eligibility requirements.
Prospective students, parents, carers, and support persons are encouraged to book and attend an open day or an ACADEMY tour. During this session, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about what makes Impact ACADEMY unique and ask any questions. This ensures that you are making an informed decision about your young person’s education.
After attending the tour, a Self-Referral form will be emailed to your nominated email address. If you decide Impact ACADEMY might be the right fit, you can proceed to the next step.
Once we receive your referral and our staff have reviewed the referral, we will make contact to discuss the process for proceeding with the enrolment or refer you to another service.
If we progress, we will arrange an Enrolment Interview with our Principal or a delegated representative, for the young person and their parent/guardians. This can include referring agencies, if relevant.
Note: If Impact ACADEMY is at capacity, students will be placed on a waitlist
For a referral, please fill out your preferred self or professional form below:
Professional Referral forms can also be download HERE
Note: If you are an agency referring a student, we encourage you to have the student attend one of our tours/open days prior. A tour is needed before progressing to an interview.
During the interview, we will have a look into your fit within our school to ensure we are able to best suit your educational needs. At the end of the interview, if we are the right fit for your needs, we will discuss the next steps in the enrolment process.
You will be given an Enrolment Contract and Consent to Share and Obtain Information form which needs to be completed before a student can be enrolled with us.
All students enrolled at Impact ACADEMY will collaborate with staff to develop an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and a Student Support Plan (SSP). These plans are created during a Student Support Group (SSG) meeting, which includes key stakeholders such as parents/guardians, classroom teachers, support workers, and any others involved in the student’s care, prior to commencement of enrolment.
Additional plans that may be developed to support the student’s educational journey include:
We are committed to ensuring that each young person receives the necessary support to succeed and thrive in their educational journey.
