About the position - Semester 2 start!

We are seeking a dedicated and student‑centred Educational Support Officer to join our passionate team. In this role, you will work closely with fellow Education Support Officers, Teachers, Educational Youth Workers and the Principal to support the learning, engagement, and wellbeing of our young people.

You will assist students both in and out of the classroom, contribute to individual education and wellbeing plans, support teachers in developing innovative  learning experiences and build positive relationships that enhance participation, confidence and success. This position plays a vital role in creating a safe, structured and encouraging environment where young people can connect, grow and achieve.

This is a part time role, 34 hours per week, TERM ONLY.
Monday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
Tuesday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Wednesday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
Thursday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 2:00pm

Who we're looking for

  • Minimum of Certificate IV in Education Support or equivalent
  • Enthusiasm and passion for assisting students with positive school engagement
  • Previous experience in a similar role within education or youth support
  • Understanding of trauma informed practices
  • Ability to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check with no outcomes
