About the position - We are growing!

As the Attendance and Engagement Officer, you will be a key point of contact for students, families and staff, ensuring attendance is accurately monitored and followed up while supporting enrolments, communication and student engagement.

Working closely with the Principal, Wellbeing Team, Teachers, Support staff and Administration staff, you will help create a supportive and connected learning environment for our students and families.

This is a part-time role, 15 hours per week, TERM ONLY.
Monday - Friday 8:00am-11:00am

Who we're looking for

Someone who is a highly organised and approachable professional who can balance administrative accuracy with genuine care for students and families.

Essential skills and experience

  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
  • Experience maintaining confidential records and information.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise competing tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Commitment to child safety, student wellbeing and professional conduct.
  • Confidence managing sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.

Desirable

  • Experience working within a school setting.
  • Knowledge of Compass or other student management systems.
  • Understanding of school attendance processes and engagement strategies.
  • Current First Aid qualification.
  • Experience working with diverse students and families.
