Seeking two Generalist Teachers to commence in Term 1, 2025, and begin teaching Year 11 students in Term 2, 2025. This full-time role at Impact Community ACADEMY focuses on delivering strength-based education tailored to support disengaged youth and help them thrive academically and personally.

IMPACT Community Services operates across the Fraser Coast, Wide Bay, North Burnett, South Burnett and Discovery Coast. These are, and always will be, the unceded lands of the Butchulla, Gureng Gureng, Wakka Wakka, Kabi Kabi, Wulli Wulli, Taribelang, Gurang and Byali.
Through the middle of these lands, the Burnett River runs, reflecting a lifeblood of the land and a connection to our neighbours; sharing, caring and respecting, the lands, the peoples, and the environment. IMPACT works respectfully upon these lands, with good faith and to see that we do not unwittingly cause harm to the environment or the peoples who occupy it. Our commitment is underpinned by authentic acknowledgement and recognition of past and present injustices and traumas that have and continue to detrimentally impact the lands, environments, cultural, spiritual, social, emotional and economic wellbeing of Australia's First Peoples.

IMPACT has over 45 years of serving our communities. Although we remain proud of this history, we are humbled in the presence of First Nations Peoples who share an ongoing connection to these lands for over 65,000 years. We honour their legacy as part of the longest continuous living cultures on the planet; of which we are truly grateful to share and learn from and we commit to empowering the lives of those within our communities, together in humility.
