Impact Community ACADEMY, also known as Impact ACADEMY is a registered Non-for-profit Special Assistance School in Bundaberg, Queensland. Impact ACADEMY opens to students in 2025 for year 11 only and will cater to year 12 in 2026 as well as the opportunity for year 10 in the future. Find out more about what makes us different here.

Community Support

With over 45 years of dedication to the Bundaberg community, IMPACT Community Services identified a critical need for a special assistance school. In 2024, Impact Community ACADEMY was born, designed to provide a supportive and engaging space for young people at risk of disengaging from traditional education.

Meet our Team

  • United in excellence, dedicated to success

    Impact Community ACADEMY’s founding Principal, Jenna Auer, brings extensive experience in both primary and secondary education. Jenna has served as a Lead Teacher for Innovation and Excellence, with qualifications including a Bachelor of Education (Primary), a Master of Education (Special Needs), and a Certificate IV in Assessment and Training.

    Jenny is a retired Queensland educational leader with 33 years of experience in secondary and vocational education. She served as Deputy Principal and Principal at Kepnock State High School, later working in Brisbane's Department of Education and as Assistant Regional Director for the Sunshine Coast region.

    Lynda has 15 years experience as a Business Manager with Education Queensland and over 20 years in finance and banking. She excels in managing compliance, financial, human, and physical resources, supporting schools' strategic direction. She is also a Life Member and Past President of the Bundaberg Surf Life Saving Club.

    Tanya joined IMPACT Community Services in 1999, rising to Managing Director. Known for capacity building and advocacy, she serves on influential boards and committees, and mentors emerging leaders.

    Robin, with extensive experience in education, is committed to social justice and youth advocacy, actively participating in community groups and holding qualifications in School and Human Resource Management.

    Leanne Rudd - Leanne, founder of The Money Edge, has 30 years experience in agribusiness, accounting, financial advice, and helping regional businesses thrive. She is also Chair of the IMPACT Community Services Board.
